What do you mean "2 games" in the playoffs? If you mean like how baseball used to be (basically just four teams making the playoffs - 2 from each conference/league) then...

instead of a bye for the top 2 seeds they would have a 1-8 format kinda like what the nba does. -
18 games is too many i b itching 4 the playoffs at week 12. If i had 2 choose I would rather get rid of the 1st round bye n make them play. Homefield is enough of an advantage

Dont want an 18 game season.... And the playoffs are str8 the way they are if you ask me./

That only adds games for the teams that would now get a bye They would have to expand the playoff to at least 24 teams to add 2 games -
Keep it as is

no it would be a field of 16 overall (8 from the afc and 8 from the nfc) -

Oh, aight, but still --- ? , lol.
We already had one 7-9 team make the playoffs as it is. With that format there would be at least two losing teams in the playoffs EVERY YEAR. No thanx. NBA Eastern Conference can have that ? .
I'm all for the 18 games and two bye weeks tho. ANYTHING to lengthen the NFL season and cut the preseason is fine by me. The following is just down right ? ...
NBA Offseason -- FOUR MONTHS
NHL offseason -- THREE AND A HALF MONTHS
Baseball Offseason -- THREE MONTHS, but according to ESPN -- NEVER.
NFL offseason -- SEVEN ? MONTHS.
? be in football withdrawal by March...

look at the nfc this year two deserving teams missed (giants and bucs) so those two teams would have filled out the last two spots.
