retrieving email passwords.....

does anyone know how to find out(i.e. hack) an email password(specifically gmail)....are these hacking vids on youtube fake and is there an easier way to access someone's email account?

seriously tho
if its a person who is always in close contact with you, change the boot order on their pc/lap top so they cant use it for a day or two (tell them you can fix it) and put a key logger on yours. this way when they borrow yours the key logger will get it for you
other than that you would have to do an old fashioned phish
there is no way to do it by some wild program or changing query strings. some peoples passwords are actually just easy to guess -

yea the key-logger thing is the smartest imo
if you now the person and can get to their phone most people connect email to cell phone so you can get into the account and change the back up email address to yours then try and login and put forgot password and it will email it to the address you put into as the back up -
