They would have to cut Magloire and Arroyo to make it happen. I say do it! Both players are upgrades. Troy Murphy is a stretch 5, and Bibby is shooting 43 percent from three this season. He should be able to take advantage of all those open threes Arroyo and Chalmers miss. Troy Murphy would give them a center teams actually have to defend, and he crashed the boards. They will lose some defense when they are on the floor but the Heat are badly in need of some extra O.

^^^^Yeah....He will be better as the backup that plays defense. Bibby would do a better job of running the offense, and give Wade, Bosh and Bron support late in games. He can hit big shots and wont be scared to take them. I see Chalmers pass up too many open shots like he's scared or something.

Bibby proved he wasnt scared of the moment when he stayed hittin clutch shots with the Kings in the playoffs plus he can hadle the ball. He gonna make they late game offense run better. Murphy can knock down 3s and he craashes the boards. Good move if they can get both.

You're right. They don't need anymore offensive fire power. Bibby is a nice addition anywhere else, but he doesn't upgrade the Heat too much. Especially since LeBron is the ball handler. -

Sounds good if it's true, Miami won't beat any of the top teams without either a good center or a real point guard. Chalmers is a shooting guard not a pt guard. I'm really disappointed in Arroyo, that ? went from starting pt guard to a sleeping on the bench.

And Murphy gives them a backup PF and he can play center.
I know no one cares but Heat have played without a back up PF since Haslem was injured. -

He will take and make big shots in the fourth quarter and playoffs. He will run the offense much better than Chalmers, he a better basketball IQ than Chalmers at this point so his decision making ( when to shoot, when to pass) will help. -
