I'm rolling wit Curren$y....although as said before, J.Cole is technically the better rapper. With Curren$y, you'd have to get past his lazy delivery at times to realize how nice he is as well.

Plus Curren$y has the better catalog of music over the last year or so.

devin the dude yeah, but jay really?

The reason I say Jay is because of the charisma aspect. J.Cole is like listening to your parents talk to u . They may say some good ? to you but you aint tryin to hear it from them all the time . Currency is like you man telling you the same ? but his presentation is something more you will accept

Its no so much he is boring . He can rap but he doesnt crank . Meaning that when you listen to him you hear that he got major flow , but thats it . His style is somewhat swagless

can't argue with that. he's more so passion and emotion and less swag and laidback. i can see how that would turn you off about him (pause).

I agree the idea of "soft" rappers getting corny though..

Just as corny to always rap about not rapping out guns and drugs, than it is to always rap about guns and drugs..

That being said, j cole isn't necessarily a "soft" rapper..

    can't argue with that.

Same prob with Kweli , Mos Def , and a prob Jay Electronica may have but I think he may be on another level musically or with his art

Currensy reminds me of Ghostface Killah in a lot ways from a lyrical standpoint he say a lot fly ? and got his own style . His music does set a mood unlike any other new ? even though he not really new he been around since '02. Cole is okay but Currensy is better and like a lot people said has a hustle like no other. Overall musically Currensy is better and lyrically they are closer than people think with the slight edge going to Cole.

I stopped reading when someone said Currensy had charisma.

? 's got the flow and voice of a fat kid with bad nasal congestion.

spitt is too unconsistent and struggles writing hooks and cohesive songs

I think Cole may be the better technical rapper ( more in the mold of a NAS ). But Spiita is more fun to listen to more charisma on the mic . Like a cross between a Jay-Z and Devin The Dude
yeah it's kinda like arguing jay and nas. one's more better as a rapper (nas, cole), while the other has more charisma and personality (jay, spitta)

No, just no. If anything, J.Cole is like JayZ in terms of "personality and charisma," and Curren$y has more of a laid back style like a Nas or more so the dipset version of Cam.

    Spitta is way better IMO

Cosign. J.Cole is very average. Out of the countless songs he's dropped I only feel like 3 of them. Curren$y on the other hand drops fire 75% of the time.
