Maybe it's just me but I never understood the fascination with kurupt. Yea he has his bright spots here and there but nowhere near the upper echelon lyricist people are making him out to be. I always thought that him and killah priest were the two weak links in the four horsemen. They were very interchangeable and could've easily been replaced by two other more compotent emcees -

the thing with Kurupt is that ever since space boogie, he's struggled to be consistent. in his prime, he is definitely in the upper echelon of any mc category. listen to this 3:10
