    ItzGravitation gets my vote. Overall I think Melendez had the better verse but it did not feel like a battle verse. I know he said that it was referencing how he felt his verse was slept on last time, but I was not around for it. And I don't feel I should have researched to understand a battle verse, you won't be doing that at any freestyle competition ya know? ItzGravitation threw more jabs, with some equally cleaver wordplay. Props to both though.

    The reason, hell its me.
    Plus i better understand my work than Melendezes even tho i liked the candy bar ? he did.
    I like witty lines more than a series of words with witty ? every now and then
    Dont see anywhere in the rules where i cant vote

    everybody understand there own work fam....because i still see where people missing some of my punches going straight at u with the ? reference since i knew u was jew lol ...plus i woulda re edited my ? like u did if i woulda saw u re editing yours.....I didn't see where u re edited until the voting started taking place....that there gave u an advantage but the hell with it

    when i first started battling on here i was going wrecklessy hard with the ? ? and go straight at a ? but after so many battles that was 3 rounds sometime 5 rounds per battle....that ? gets old sooo now i put in work to think and be creative with original wordplay and punches

    but honestly all the wordplay not my style in the booth i spit more on street topics similar to sigel styles etc but for these battles on text i know people can't hear the flow so i give them sick punches

    I'm going to find some people to vote on this battle tonight BC this needs to get resolved and it's too close so whoever has the most votes by midnight eastern time will move on and I hope who doesn't win sticks around and votes on other battles and enters the next tournament.

    after reading this battle i felt cejota came more correct because his rhymes were better and it flowed more naturally. cejota had nice wordplay.

    Decent battle, My vote goes to ItzGravitation cause I felt like his rap was better suited for a battle where C Melendez joint kinda sounded like it could be a filler track on a street album. I think ItzGravitation's flow was a little better as well. Good ? .

    I really appreciate the moderators coming in here to vote. They did their thing. Only thing is, it is midnight eastern time so time is up and we're still tied lol. 6-6. I wish both battlers could advance but someone has to go. I am going to try and find some more people to vote. This is crazy. After 12 voters, still no clear winner. I am going to have to extend voting another day until tomorrow midnight ET. Up!

    Gravitation didn't impress me wit his constipated rhymes. The Big Sean/Young Money punchlines really didn't do it for me either.

    Grav's ? was a bit corny and forced at times but ima give him the edge. He way came harder (super no ? ? ) than Melendez.

    They both were good, but I liked C. Melendez's verse better. Especially the ending with the candy, made it seem cohesive and creative.

    OK. I was asked to break the tie.

    Having read both verses and spit the to myself, I have to say this:

    Melendez's verses had some nice lines in it (the Murder Inc/no Ashanti line, flow wise, was really good)
    However, the switching from one rhyme scheme to another seemed totally random and off-bar at times. And the ABBA line was wack.
    For a battle rhyme, it had some decent punchlines, but very random.

    Now Grav's verse had simpler lines to it, sure.
    I think the flow of his line fit better, especially the last eight bars and the candy lines. Very creative.

    This is closer, cause there's flaws and strong points in each verse, but my vote goes.....







    ....Gravitation.

    that guy's marketing is tight, letting everyone thinking they have to break the tie.
