Havin prollem wit the mouse on my laptop

It wont let me right click on ? , like if I try to cut and paste a link thats not in the adress bar it wont work. The right click options will pop extra quick but not long enough for me to do anything.
I even switched the buttons up, it still didnt work.
Does any body have any ideas? Or should I just get one of those small usb mouse.
