Looks like I will be battling the winner in the Finals as Tupacfan DQ'ed (wanted to see her spit, too).
I'm not going to vote but I will say my favourite part of each 16:
D.I.: All sorts of nice punches but my favourite was:

That line had me laughing and at the same time was as slick as ? .
thedesolateone: This might have been the strongest battle verse I have read from you so far.
Again, lots of ill lines but I killed myself laughing right away with that "* rick james voice:? your location*" adlib, that ? had me spitting my drink out of my nostrils and ? (reminding me of that hamburger guy who was throwing out the Jeezy adlibs during the last tournament)

This vote was very hard to choose, both came with strong lines, and strong images....I try to say tie...but my vote is thedesolateone.....and good luck to Discipline InSight your verse was very creative keep up the good work. And good luck to

Solid battle. I gotta go with Disciplined InSight on this one. I found his verse flowed a lot better, which just adds to the effectiveness of the punchline when it arrives. That folgers line was gold. He went in on his last four bars, pretty hard to top that. Desolate had a solid verse as well and although he had funnier punches, they weren't as precise as InSight's. Was hard to follow Desolate's flow at times, had to re-read it once or twice to get it, which shouldn't be the case in a battle.

I liked Insights folger line but after the plane, car, bus line i had made my decision.
