Is it better to have all the best equipment or just the bare minimum?

Just asking cuz I've made some of my top ? with minimum equipment and when I got everything I wanted it kind of slowed me down i felt for awhile.

    its best to have whatever you can work with. Im the work with the least amount of ? , master it, then try to move onto somethin else. Finding a comfort zone is the most important thing in producing.
