because they are jealous or envious of one another. want to stand out, shine, out run the other, be on top and dominate and get respect when it isn't due, so since you're not intelligent, educated or disciplined, you resort to violence when someone causes your emotions, jealousy and ignorance to overshadow your common sense.

I can attribute a great deal of it to Willie Lynch-ism, I don't think the majority of us understand where it comes from and you can not solve the problem without understanding the source or root cause. Even with that being said we are ultimately responsible for ourselves and need to stop perpetuating or assisting others to perpetuate stereo types. The answer "cause that's what ? do" is not a sufficient answer. Speaking objectively, being aggressive towards each other is an outcome of slavery and the psychology of self-hatred. It also has to do with class antagonisms being added into the mix. The reason why I think that slavery and class are the reasons for this is because the way that Black folks interact with each other in other countries is totally different than it is in the US. So that's why I attribute it to white supremacy and political dynamics in this country.

Word. Self-hatred is a historical and political process that has kept us from really uniting. I'd love to see another Black Power movement like back in the 1960s and 1970s. -
