The white boys at the Film School I attend priase that show like it's the holy bible so it aint just no "typical ? ? " to watch... That show IMO is the greatest tv drama to ever come on television

i never watched till a month ago... then me & my girl watched all 5 seasons in a month -
I rate it as one of the greatest pieces of television programming ever made, but it's understandable if people are hesitant over watching it because of the fanboy factor and their incessant preaching. It's enough to make you want to gauge your eyes out.

The wire is good, but on here ? overrated way too much, I guess cuz this the only show they can relate too.

ive yet to see one episode to. which is odd because i have the box set for season 1 here. i guess i should start.

The Wire is either the 1st or 2nd greatest show on t.v ever. The Sopranos does give it a run for its money. -
Just finished watching the first 2 episodes of season 2, Its a complete change of scene .. Now its about russian mobsters ? I want the show to go back to baltimore city

I never watched The Wire but I got every episode of The Corner when it was on HBO.

Considering that it is widely considered by many reputable Publications as the Greatest TV Show of all time, I don't know why you would feel that way.
The die hard fans of this show range from Alan Moore to fucken Stephen King.

its a change of pace but wack? nope...season 2 isnt as raw n gritty...u gotta understand that Baltimore is a big city and that criminals come in all different races and pay grades
