Thank you Aqua for inspiring a wonderful thread like this.
I, as you all know, play poker a lot... it's how I make my money.

This thread is about anything poker related (Cash games, tournaments, hold'em, other games, etc.)

Other forms of gambling may be discussed in here as well.

    if you are going to quote me..dont cut copy and paste quote everything!!!!! yes and those ppl have thousands of dollars,,those ppl either "worked" lol to get there or even had side degress and so forth it takes money to make money ? ...i have watched poker on the t.v and stuff there is not such thing as NEVER LOSING.....everytime u place your money on a table you are taking a chance of losing it no matter how good you are

    I hear you. I dabble in both. I may play in one to two cash games a week. I play in about 4 or more tournaments a month :tu I live in Cali and I travel all over playing in tournaments in different casinos.

    See I wanna get into tournaments, but I was gonna start off practicing online for smaller buy-ins. ? government killed online poker on that horrendous friday in April.

    Yes they did. Smh @ my favorite site being hemmed up :td ? online though, you can practice at the casinos. They have tourneys with small buy-ins. Go to the website of the casino you frequent and look it up or call and find out or just go and find out lol In LA they have nothing but card casinos so the ? is heaven lol

    Oh yeah I know my casino has them for sure.
    And yes online poker wasn't something I invested a lot of money in, I have a better feel live.

    Hawaiian Gardens is ok. I havent been to the hustler yet. Commerce is THEE place for me as far as LA card clubs go :tu I used to play at the Chumash Casino when I lived in Ventura County.
