I used to be a hard-core Akai MPC-3000 user. Very dedicated. Even though, I never hated on software users because at the end of the day, it's not really about what you use, but how you use it. I've beat-battled many cats on here who've used everything from Phantoms to garage band. Now, I've been shown the light. A DAW that lets me do what I want to do efficiently and quickly; a DAW that's responsive and can handle my project down to even the mastering phase if need be; a DAW that is both portable and powerful. Hello friends, I am an FL Studio user. I've converted three people to the COFLS (church of fl studio) so far and will continue on my mission to enlighten and enrich the lives of beatmaker/producers world-wide. Do you use FL Studio? If not, why not? Would you like to learn more about something that can change your life? Contact me or my FL spiritual advisor Gorilla Pimpin' Grodd for more enlightenment......have a blessed day.

Kang Solomon they don't understand how great FL is. Whenever ppl heard FL they think about Soulja Boy and Dem Franchise Boys. But don't realize that 9th Wonder, Khrysis, Boi-1da are great producers who use it great. And if you know what your doing, I've hooked up my M3 and Motif to it and used my MPC as my MIDI controller. What's so dope about it is I can do post-production on my beats without having to do post-production. I love it, been using it for 8 years.

Bless you, brother..........I come not to condemn the word, but to fulfill it! We must represent with harmony and unity so that all may know the glory of the fruity loops!!! There are many who live in darkness and despair, burdened with cumbersome and unnecessary audio gear. We must enlighten them and show them the path to righteousness. Let us not bicker amongst ourselves, brethren... let the chych say AMEN!!!!!

Went from using FL studio from 2005-08 and ever since then I been using Pro Tools and Reason.... I wanna get back in FL studio because it was so much ? I could do, I was still learnin new ? 3 years after using it. Now I gotta learn new DAW's (logic, cubase) when I already knew a lot about FL Studio...

I know one thing, when I start buying my gear, FL Studio is the first thing Im buyin. Right after I get a lap dance from Chanel

you can use reason like a vst and sequence with FL which is a lot easier; it's also easier to chop samples with it

I'm not satisfied with the instruments you get to work with in the FL studio. Probably because I never pay for it, I always register some hacked version.

    BUT

As far as functionality, simplicity, and ease of use, FL ? Reason right in the ass.

lol; I have yet to touch any of the stock sounds in FL, which leads to why it's so dope; I can use any of my vst's effortlessly.
    reason is tha' DEVIL, bretheren!!!

nah i think he said he uses both sometimes....but i been usin FL since 04-05, the ? is dope, i was converted myself from a cheap ass yamaha 6 track recorder keyboard to FL. This ? upped my game because of its limitless possibilities...I chop all my records here, my drums sound better than most ? with MPC60s...or MPCs period, i dont knock nobody usin hardware its essentially the same as far as choppon and sequences go, but you can take it a step further with the playlist, you can mix tracks down and ? ....never used nothin else never will.

this was true back when FL only had 3xOSC and that wack ass TS404 ? , but its not really true now. Between Sytrus, Toxic Biohazard, PoiZone, Mophine and Sawer, FL XXL has some NICE synths bundled with it...

lmao, aiight, here's the truth about Reason vs. FL

Reason is designed for people that are accustomed to working with music hardware. That's why it has the rack design with the cords in the back and all that. (also why ReDrum looks like an TR-808) Talk to any experienced musician over the age of 40 and I bet you they'll like Reason but hate FL because it "seems like a toy".

FL on the other hand wasn't designed to be a replica of old hardware and midi setups. It was designed to be a COMPUTER PROGRAM. So it offers a speed and efficiency that Reason could never hope to match.

oh and back when Fresh Produce started, I remember a thread where some Reason user made a big thread talkin bout "You're not really a producer if you use Fruity Loops" and talkin all this ? about how Reason is for "serious people" etc etc etc. Then he said "You can't make something like THIS in Reason" and posted a beat he made.....

AND THE ? WAS WACK, SON. WACK AS ? .

so yea, It's the Pilot, not the Plane...
