The Bible consists of books, and those books were written in eras. not simply the OT and the NT. The era before the Flood, it was ok for a man to marry his sister or close relative without consequence. ? ended that when he brought the Israelites out of Egypt. Jesus didn't speak on Homosexuality at all then. His message was one of acceptance and looking past people's sin. THEN, for whatever reason, Christians nowadays are back to same routine - ESPECIALLY when it comes to homosexuality.
While I'm far from calling Homosexuality a "sin" I find it ironic that they (Christian religious nutjobs) call on the sympathy of the Bible when they sin. The ol' "All of us fall short", or the "We were born in a sinful nature" or the infamous "The devil is busy right now" routine gets them hand claps from their congregation who simply encourages and prays for them before they go out and do the same ? the next week. But when its a sin they are not partaking in, it becomes the FIRE AND BRIMSTONE message and lack of empathy they ask for themselves. And when confronted by their own hypocrisy - its "well no one said we're perfect". Its a joke!
No one is out there protesting and marching against divorce lawyers, who destroys families. No one is protesting in front of the casinos and bars where people drink, get ? and spend all their hard earned money. I don't see marches against the porno industry and their websites. I don't see national christian groups creating laws against unwed pregnancies. Nope, their battle is solely against homosexuality. And I find that more than hypocritical in its stance and refuse to participate...

I agree with you my friend in Christ. Those verses sure do hit the nail on the head. I'm just being led by the spirit of ? and He is leading me to proclaim truth. When there is no truth in the land, the people perish for a lack of knowledge. And we know that the only truth is ? .
I believe that the body of Christ has become weak because we refuse to proclaim the whole counsel of ? nowadays. Sorry, Pat Robertson and the other devils with him say the same thing, and it is a deceptive game they play to try and hide who and what America really is. Yes you are right AndStep. The founding fathers were sinful beings just like we are today. But I do believe that ? inspired the founding fathers to establish a nation that was to be founded upon the principles of Christ. But of course, those same men suffered from the same sin nature which plagues all of humanity. So saying that, I believe that ? set the nation of America up to be a prosperous nation which would share the gospel message of Jesus Christ with the whole world. And this has proven to be true. No other nation has sent as many missionaries out into the world as the United Sates of America has. But to whom much is given, much is required. And with that being the case, we as a nation have corrupted ourselves by fornicating with everything under the sun.
