Share your favorite quotes, it can be a personal saying that you live by or a quote from someone else. Something that really resonates with you every time you hear, read, or say it. Also if you do not mind explain why it's your favorite quote. Here are a couple of mine:

“Say not, 'I have found the truth,' but rather, 'I have found a truth." ~ Kahlil Gibran
(Just one of my many favorites quote from one of my favorite authors )

He lives the poetry that he cannot write. The others write the poetry that they dare not realise. ~Oscar Wilde (I just really like this quote, it really summarizes how I view poetry)

“If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were.” (This is my love life in a nut shell)

"F*** It" (something I always heard or said when dealing with something or someone petty or just when I'm aggravated)

"People are unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends, and some true enimies; Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend year's building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they maybe jealous; Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never give enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis it is between you and ? ; it was never between you and them anyway."

    - Words from Mother Theresa.

This quote is SO powerful! very relevant too! If people could just implement this, I think we be off in a better world lol..

"By curbing his tongue, a man gains possession of his mind.*

The fool babbles, gossips, argues, and bandies words. He glories in the fact that he had the last word, and has silenced his opponent. He exults in his own folly, is ever on the defensive, and waste his energies in unprofitable channels. He is like a gardener who continues to dig and plant in unproductive soil.

The wise man avoids idle words, gossip, vain argument, and self-defense. He is content to appear defeated; rejoices when he is defeated; knowing that, having found and removed another error in himself he has thereby become wiser.

Blessed is he who does not strive for the last word."*

    Morning and Evening Thoughts
