seeing as how Illmatic had a bigger impact on hip hop and changed the way rappers rap, Ima go with Illmatic

What that got to do with who's debut album was better? If ? think Shell Shock was a better album then thats their opinion.

& Mac is a legend, he might not rank high as Nas as a legend. but overrall he still a legend

you should be more open minded .

shell shocked has a bigger following than what you think on a street level. its a real album from one of the most realest and under-rated rappers ever. mac wasnt a random no limit rapper he is often thought of as o ne of the finest lyricicts in the game let alone from the NO.

dont be so quick to jump on nas's nuts just cos of his legend status.

shell shocked was a real fukin album and IMO more complete and versatile than illmatic.

but damn shell shocked has so many tracks that even to this day are still relevant and sound like bangers.

boss chick, murda murda ? ? , slow ya roll, empire, paranoid, callin me, hotel, wooo and memories with cmurder

and lets not forget the classic can i ball with soulja slim (rip)

    Illmatic by far..

Even though Mac's album was maybe one off the best No Limit albums.

    i respect your opinion.

but to me.... nas has fell off more and more with each album he released.

where as mac went up.... and then he got put in jail.

Dude was alright.I can't give him legend status though.he was cool.Mystikal is a legend to me.My question is why did he get 30 yrs for manslaughter?they usually don't give ppl that many yrs for a manslaughter.they may have charged him with 1st degree murder.
