sweetheart I think what ? meant to say is that, a man like a woman who acts like a woman

in terms of fixing his plate, do I do it? no, then again my family usually eats meals family style around the table, not buffet style, so the only time a plate needs to be fixed is when we're by ourselves

    but anyhoo

you should do it, in the same respect that you would expect him to act like a gentleman, open doors, pull out chairs, etc. in front of your kinfolk

    i'm answering his question.
i simply said that he should learn how to cook for himself.
that's nice for my dude to open doors, pull out chairs,a nd all that ?
but i'm not suppose to be taking advantage of that..
? is saying it like it's mandatory for females to cook for him.

    this aint even about cooking.

It doesnt matter who cooked. We talking about who puts the food on the plate and hands it to your man.

This thread done got me heated today damn it

Nah this aint about cookin shorty duwop. Idk maybe its a Southern thing but all the bbqs or gatherings I've been to, the woman ALWAYS fixes her man a plate first. If not, it's the man's momma or grandmother. Nobody else.

I usually make his plate. If we're out I ask him what he wants when I get up to get mine. If he doesn't want anything while I'm up then he's on his own and he doesn't have a problem with that.
