LOL @ "Them days are long gone". 1st week sales won't change that Wayne will never move Jay Z, Biggie or NaS units over his career. There are 15 rappers with higher album career Sales Than Wayne and several groups. Watch the Throne is a collaboration LP and it already outsold "Like Father, Like Son" in about 2 weeks. "Carter 3" when Triple Platinum, well Jay Z has 3 Triple Platinum albums (Vol 2, BP2, The Black Album). Again hold on to those 1st week sales but it's never how your start but how you finish. "Carter 4" probably won't even go Double when it's all said in done. -

Jay is on the Decline but he just got his 12th #1 (Heading to Beatles Status), won the most grammies for a rap album in History and is coming off a Double Platinum solo album and the biggest song of his career? This is the problem when you hate, A Hater lacks logic and it blinds them from facts. -

either way, congrats if he did but in the end it's apple seeds to an apple tree. Jay has outsold wayne, birdman, drake, nicki, with his entire career so far...Wayne seems to be falling from what I've seen. It seems more like Drake and Nicki are the most popular and Weezy is in 2nd tier musically. But if you have a link that shows definiatively wayne doing bigger numbers then you have a point. Either way, what does that have to do with the thread title/topic? -
