a shocking incident occurred in the village of Mihaileny of Rishcansky district of Moldova with a boy named Laurentiu, who was born six weeks ago in the family of 24-year-old Ludmila and Dmitry Gaydeu.

The parents decided to baptize the child on July 22. The priest of the local church, who is also the chief of all priests of the district, was not going to be there, so he asked priest Valentine Tsaralunge from the village of Taul to perform the ceremony.

“We have not figured out yet why he invited this father Valentine and not another priest from Riscani district,” Valery Moskalu, the district police officer, told Komsomolskaya Pravda.

Approximately twenty of the closest relatives and friends came to the church at 4:30PM. Father Valentin began the baptism ceremony.

“He dipped the baby in the water without even covering the baby's mouth with his hand to prevent him from drowning,” recalls Dmitry Gaydeu, the father of the six weeks-old Laurentiu. “He put his hand on his stomach and dipped him in the water three times.”

The Godparents saw that the boy was not well and warned father Valentine. He answered it was not the first time that he was conducting the ceremony and knew what he was doing. When they saw that the child showed no signs of life, he was immediately taken to the district hospital.

“We went along with the father,” continues Dmitry Gaydeu. ”The physician-pathologist Sergei Railean said that my son has suffered mechanical asphyxia by drowning, there was bruising and bleeding in the soft tissues of his neck. The doctor said the baby was healthy.”

“After that, father Valentine disappeared for some time,” the police officer said. “Then he came to us. We believe that during his absence he went to Chisinau, to the archdiocese.”

Six-weeks-old Laurentiu was buried on Saturday, July 24.

“This is the case of homicide through reckless imprudence. Father Valentine is facing up to three years of imprisonment. However, he claims he is not guilty.

“We will do everything to find out the truth,” s aid Dmitry Gaydeu” The boy was healthy, so the priest who conducted the rite of baptism is to blame for his death.”

HOMESTEAD, Fla. -- A 2-year-old boy died Tuesday night, less than a day after being hospitalized with severe head injuries. Police said his father admitted the boy was injured while he tried to teach the child how to box.

Homestead police were called to the family's apartment in the 300 block of Southwest Fourth Avenue in Homestead at 10:30 p.m. Monday after the 2-year-old boy was wounded.

The child was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

According to the arrest form, the boy's father, 23-year-old Lee Willie DeJesus, initially told police that he had returned home to find his 2-year-old son unresponsive on a bed. DeJesus told police a babysitter must have beaten the child, the form said.

After being taken to the police department, investigators said DeJesus admitted that he lied about there being a babysitter.

The arrest form said DeJesus told officers that he was trying to teach the boy how to box. Police said DeJesus put on 16-ounce boxing gloves and punched the child about 15 times in his face, torso, head and shoulders over the course of about 15 minutes.

According to police, DeJesus said the child hit his head on a wall and on a tile floor when he fell off a bed.

? that baby, bring it to life, just so you can ? it again

    http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/world/7724911/baby-who-revived-inside-coffin-dies/
Authorities in central Mexico say a newborn baby girl who was declared dead, but later revived inside her coffin, has died.

Hidalgo state attorney general Jose Rodriguez said the baby died of asphyxia, three days after being declared dead the first time by a doctor in the town of Tulancingo.

The baby was born prematurely on Monday and declared dead by a doctor.

Rodriguez said on Thursday that during the wake, the baby's parents heard a strange noise coming out of her little coffin and when they opened it, found the baby crying. He said the baby was in stable condition in a hospital.

But on Friday, Rodriguez told a press conference the baby had died on Thursday night.

The doctor who declared the baby dead the first time is under investigation.

This is why some cases make for good arguments in favor of involuntary sterilization. Anyone who could do that to an infant shouldn't be able to reproduce.
