? mcafee and norton; I had norton some years ago, but it was a cpu hog and interfering with my essential music programs. after un-installing that ? , I had to re-load mad drivers on my ? - a ? couldn't even get back on the internet; since then I've used avg and had no problems

I was part of that cleanup as well. There was a virus that hit that got past that updated DAT version. I took over 900 workstations offline just in my building. The Autoupdatewas disabled as well. If you have the small "V" shield in the bottom right corner, make sure you updat your DAT version to atleast 6.5 or above. This will run the EPO also and the shield will turn into a red and white "M". Autoupdates will now start coming thru again.

This solution failed the feasibility study for may many reasons. Apple Ldap connections suck. Apple is not quite up to date for enterprise and I don't think it will ever be. I think they'll just stay with their niche.
