Chilly Liam Neeson has a wolf problem

Don’t you just hate it when you’re finally flying home from a months-long job on an oil rig only for your plane to come crashing down onto the sub-arctic tundra and leave you stranded with your workmates at the mercy of some very hungry wolves? Yeah, us too. And so does Liam Neeson, who has to deal with that exact problem in Joe Carnahan’s new thriller, The Grey. The trailer has just stalked online and can be watched below.
Showing off Carnahan’s typically stylish flair, this first promo doesn’t really feature much in the way of anyone besides Neeson, who longs to see his other half again while also using broken bottles and all his wits to survive against the furry fiends.
And though you only get a brief glimpse of the rest of the cast, it also includes Frank Grillo, Dermot Mulroney, Dallas Roberts, Joe Anderson, James Badge Dale, and Nonso Anozie.
While he was busy making the movie, Carnahan talked up how he was putting his actors through hell and from the looks of this, he wasn’t kidding… The Grey will be out on January 27 in America next year, and while there’s no set UK date yet, we’re hoping we won’t have to wait too long after that to see it here.

Clearly Hollywood and everyone who pays to see his movies want to see Liam Neeson be a one man death bringer against all odds. And in that last second did he have broken beer bottles wrapped around his fists like brass knuckles? Imma check for it but not sure if I'll go to the movies to do it.
