Yo, the first half of this series was one of the GOAT shows on Toonami. But when Sensui jumped into the demon realm and turned into that spirit energy scarcrow, this show turned into hot garbage.
You knew the show jumped the shark when you saw Sensui turn into this. -

yeah....but the final tournament was pretty good. father dies, another father births a son to kick his ass later, and everyone loses. a character nobody cared about got the crown. that was cool -

I agree with that along with the length being 1.5 episode long,the whole meaning of the fight, and the aftermath... -
One of my favorites...it didn't end too well though. Hope he does a better job with Hunter X Hunter when that eventually ends.

the very 1st time i watched this episode(i got a sneak preview for it through a special dvd that was sent with a magazine subscription i had back in 2000/2001)...i was hooked. it has very underrated humor. ? ...i may watch the whole show again for the 5th time lol -
