As she sat on the cloud of tissues, empty tissue box
As she careful watch her lover, her soul mate
Pack up his boots, socks, honor and her fragile heart
Each garment drowned with his scent
to a box, where it'll be shipped to his next destination
Her expressions slowly fade as each moment floats away
No emotion on her face, memorizing every motion he makes
Silently choking off the pieces of her soul
His outspoken actions, blurries her vision
So she patiently waits for Blind Love's assistance
She visually traces his distinctive looks
Because a picture is worth a thousand words
but his presence is priceless
Silence wasn't golden, she decided to leave the room
But he stopped her in her tracks when he notice the wet package
So selfish, only considering her feelings
Her hero never expressed his own painful intuitions
But comforted her at his own expense
Their fingers intertwined as she led him to their comfort zone
She became his hero, as he reluctantly let his tears flow
Their night ended with them laying on the floor listening to music
Exploring each others "details"
Forgetting for a brief moment that she wished 2morrow will never come
Both provided each other with a small glimpse of their heart's sexual salvation
As her night ended knowing 2morrow her bestfriend will be gone

that was indeed emotionally amazing...you painted a black letter box image in my head of whats going on in the poem....its tough and a shame when you love somebody so much and they have to go off to take care of something that can wait...to this day there's women and men going through the same diliemia...losing their mate to the dedicated job description...a line that almost had me at a tear was: As she careful watch her lover, her soul mate/
Pack up his boots, socks, honor and her fragile heart

incredible.....bottom line excellent work...keep dropping those letters to cure a coping heart called poetry my fellow poetress

    peace
