Boston Stay Losing: TE Grownkowski Apologizes for Pictures Taken With Porn Star

"New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski said he apologized to team owner Robert Kraft after pictures of him with an adult film star appeared on Twitter during the team's bye week.


"I didn't send anything to hurt the reputation of anyone on the New England Patriots or on behalf of Robert Kraft," said Gronkowski. "That's all, just a simple picture, that's all. From here on out, I'm just here to talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers and the big game this weekend."

Adult film star BiBi Jones posted photos of herself in Gronkowski's jersey standing with the tight end, who is shirtless.

She appeared on 98.5 the Sports Hub on Monday and said that the two of them share a mutual friend who played football with him at Arizona. Gronkowski was in Arizona at the time.


"I went into the room to take a picture with him and he said, 'Put on my jersey,'" Jones said to the radio station. "I asked him, 'Can I put these on my Twitter?' He was cool with it because I have more Twitter followers than him and he wanted me to get him more Twitter followers."

Jones added that nothing happened between the two of them, adding: "I wish something happened, but nothing happened."

    Porn star BiBi Jones has become a household name in New England this week for hanging out with New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. But apparently she isn't new to the sports scene.

    Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is making the rounds online in the Northeast thanks to Twitpics of himself with porn star BiBi Jones. Twitter

    Jones told Business Insider that an MLB agent, whom she would not name, used to bring her out to recruit potential clients after Arizona Diamondbacks games in 2010.

    The agent reportedly took her to Phoenix-area bars after almost every game, starting in the spring of 2010, where she was introduced to major league players. Jones said she slept with "over 10" players that year, some of which she believes signed with the agent, Business Insider reports.

    Jones reportedly wasn't paid for what she did, instead insisting she wanted to do it.

    "It wasn't even expected for me to hook up with these guys," she said. "It was just like I was arm candy for him. I was the one that wanted to hook up with these guys."

    Apparently, it was a way for her to get to athletes, particularly baseball players, and a way for the agent to make a lasting impression.

    "It was like a dream come true because I love athletes and baseball's my favorite sport," she told Business Insider.

    Jones tweeted pictures of her and Gronkowski this past weekend and later appeared on Toucher and Rich on 98.5 The Sports Hub Monday morning. While on the Boston-area radio station, she revealed that nothing happened between her and the Pats tight end, although she later emphasized, "I really, really, really wish it would have happened."

    I don't see the issue, could've easily been a jersey he "bought" for her and chose to wear it.. now the players have to ok it with the team who they can take pictures with while wearing their jersey? Smh
