    R. Kelly vs. Babyface........ R. Kelly for me. I dont like much of Face's solo work.

Mary J Blige vs Toni Braxton....... Is this a joke? - Mary all day.

Mariah Carey vs Whitney Houston...... "I Have Nothing" >>>> Mariah Carey

Maxwell vs D'Angelo....... Maxwell, more consistent.

Jodeci vs Boys II Men vs Silk vs Toni Tony Tone..... TTT >> Jodeci >> Silk >> Boyz II Men

En Vogue vs. TlC vs SWV vs Xscape..... SWV >> TLC >> En Vogue >> Xscape

Dru Hill vs 112...... Dru Hill >>>

Aaliyah vs. Brandy vs Monica....... Aaliyah >>

    Next vs Blackstreet..... Blackstreet >>

Lauryn Hill vs Erykah Badu...... Erykah >>

Michael or Janet?........ In the 90's? Janet! Don't forget Rhythm Nation 1814.... even though it dropped in '89, many of the singles were released in 1990 or after.

You Mean The World To Me
    Beathe Again
    Love Shoulda Brought U Home
    I Love Me Some Him
    You Makin Me High
    Another Sad Love Song
    Un-Break My Heart
    How Many Ways
    Give U My Heart
    I Dont Want To
    I Belong To You

R.kelly - I liked Babyface as well, but my personal preference would be R. Kelly.

Mary J Blige - Give me soul music any day. Toni is more hybrid r&b/pop

Mariah Carey - I just wasn't that into Whitney at that age.

D'Angelo - I must admit I couldn't get into Maxwell early on. I wasn't into the whole neo-soul vibe and still am not really. BlackSummersNight has a slightly different vibe than his earlier work.

Jodeci - All day. Baby making music for the 90's. Their harmonies are a bit more raw than Boyz II Men and Toni, Tony, Tone which give Jodeci the edge.

En Vogue vs. TlC vs SWV vs Xscape - I can't call it. Depends on the day for me, so today I'll go with SWV. En Vogue is the ? though!

    Dru Hill - Better songs.

Aaliyah - Aaliyah even though I prefer Monica's voice. Aaliyah has better songs.

    Blackstreet

Lauryn Hill - Just listened to Unplugged in the car this morning, and Lauryn is truly gifted.

Michael - As crazy as this may sound, I was never into Janet hard. Probably because I missed her on the come up.

    Basically.

Not only based on numbers, but based on sheer impact...it would have to be Mariah.
