Mess with M.O.P.'s "Rude Bastard"? Get @ me for some heat...

Reviews of The Grey Album by Vegas (Produced by Kil):
"This is a solid effort from the duo. They delivered a cohesive ensemble, showcasing great chemistry. I recommend the LP to anyone that's into the more melodic side of golden age Hip Hop (Pete Rock & CL Smooth, A Tribe Called Quest, etc.)" - Illmuzik.com

The Roots - How I Got Over...

Best album of the year thus far,
    - Black Thought kills every verse (as always)
    - The features ? every verse as well especially Blu, and Phonte.
    - Questlove arranges another masterpiece, this album can be listened front to back with out skipping a track and flow seamlessly. (which is extremely rare these days)

    Close runner ups would be
    Nas Distant Relatives
Reflection Eternal - Revolutions Per Minute
Big Boi - Sir Luscious Left Foot

    1. Roots - "How I got Over" album is ill as expected from The Roots. I have The Fire on repeat. So many messages on their songs over banging production.
    2. Nas and Damian Marley - "Distant Relatives" this jawn goes hard. I thought this was going to be good but it was better than I thought it was going to be. This is some inspirational hiphop not preachy but damn its banging.
    3. Talib Kweli and DJ Hitek- "Revolutions Per Minute" This is banging Kweli lyrically is nice the production is banging the guest features are on point. Kweli just makes banging albums and this is another one.

Are yall serious about the Eminem album really. I am not trying to hate because it is all opinion but I listened to that album and it had 2-3 songs worth listening to. I will give it right back to someone I borrowed it from.

    on the R&B/Soul Tip

    Janelle Monae - The ArchAndroid
Corinne Bailey Rae - The Sea

    on the Hip Hop Tip

Nas & Damian Marley - Distant Relatives
The Roots - How I Got Over
    Reflection Eternal - RPM

This has been a very good year for music, but what ? me off is how under-appreciated the aforementioned albums are. Nas said that Hip Hop is Dead, and that is an understatement: Radio is alive and thriving, while GOOD MUSIC is vanishing off the face of the planet. It sickens me.
