John Q is obviously a sociological platform though. I hate movies with obvious agendas, I don't mind a subtle theme or even a moral of the story, but that ? was way TOO obvious. -

I have never felt more disgusted to be an American
eh, don't feel too bad about it.
Japan basically picked that fight and Yamamoto was like the only dude that realized how disastrous a war w/ America would be. That's why when he said "We'd have to conquer the White House to beat America", he meant it in a sarcastic "? , we have no chance" sense. But these other stupid Japanese muhfuckas was all like "YEAH, WE GON MARCH TO D.C!". lol smh
Don't start a fight you can't finish, ? . -
I seriously can't be cool with you if you've seen Hardball and seeing G-Baby get killed doesn't at least get you choked up...you have no soul...as for the Lion King...people thought I was seriously disturbed because that "thump" when Mufassa hits the ground has always made me laugh

When Gator is killed by the Good Reverend Doctor in "Jungle Fever"
In "Sugar Hill" when the mother and father overdose on Heroin.
"Mystic River" the entire film is depressing.
"Good Bye Uncle Tom" another film that's depressing.
Not a movie, but August Wilson's play "King Hedley II" (that I saw in high school at The Goodman Theatre, it starred Richard Brooks, Leslie Uggams, and Lou Meyers) when Hedley's mother mistakenly shoots him while trying to ? the man who murdered Hedley's father.
