In a move that will shock many wrestling fans, WWE NXT competitor Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) has been released by the company, according to WWE.com
"WWE has come to terms on the release of NXT first season rookie Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) as of today June 11, 2010. We wish Daniel Bryan the best in all future endeavors." the site said.
Danielson achieved worldwide success through companies like Ring of Honor and overseas in New Japan Pro Wrestling and was considered by many to be one of the best wrestlers in the world. The former ROH World Champion signed with WWE in 2009. He was part of the first NXT group and involved in an angle with Michael Cole.
Some are speculating this is simply on angle while others are saying it is legitimate.
