he will eventually get in because the hall goes off college career too...

even if it didn't, one could argue he should be in.

the nba doesn't have a hall of fame...so its technically the basketball hof...and webber's college career is wiped out of the record books because of what happened at michigan...webber was voted one of the top 12 power fowards of all-time and slam had him as one of the top 75 players ever

    HOF.

Maybe not first ballot, but definitely at some point. He was the pre-Lebron.

So much talent, so much hype, so much early sucess, that the rest of his career was overshadowed by every little "blip" of failure.

Yes he will make it because the HOF is not only NBA but amateur basketball too. He's done enough in college and NBA to warrant it.

i dont know. i mean, HOF is about legacy. at least thats how i see it. and when your legacy is that you made arguably the biggest mistake in the history of sports in the biggest game of your life, then i'm not sure you need to be in. When we all look back and hear the name Chris Webber, the first thing that comes to mind is: timeout. not: fab five. not: his nba career. its the timeout. but if he gets in, then you gotta let bernard king in

The fact that he has a legacy or got to that point is what makes him a HOF, no other team will accomplish what that Michigan team did. There have been lots of great players on great teams that never won or finished off something special, especially in college basketball (Kentucky, Duke,Kansas and North Carolina teams). Winning rings are just the byproduct, the HOF is based on your individual talent not how much you have won.

If Chris Mullins can get in then Webber definitely will.

Chris webber being my favorite player growing up watching Sacramento though you can vouch for him I doubt he gets in... He lacks the big moment of a famer, he was one of the most talented big man ever but I'm not too sure... Maybe if not for the acl injury and they got to the chip but I don't see it even after being a huge fan growing up
