This is big news. It's a collaboration between the #1 animation studio in Japan and Level 5 and it'll be one of the biggest games to be released in Japan.
- Apparently the subtitle translates to Queen of White Ashes
- It will release in 2011
- It's a different game than the DS version so it's not a port.
- Will get its own version of Magic Master Book (DS version)
- PS Move compatibility was not mentioned
- Impressions from the trailer reported that it was difficult to tell the difference between the jumps from animation to real time.
This is animated by the same studio that made "Spirited Away". The top rated anime ever. Made by Level 5, devs of Dragon Quest.
Looks like playing an actual anime 4real. Nas would love this game.

im surprised no developer tried this yet. everyone has tried to make realistic graphics the best they can, but no one has tried a pure 2D, regular animation game on next gen.
edit: actually critter crunch did something like that and that game looks great. -

nah, critter crunch was american style, 2D artwork.... kind of like a Flash game you would see on iPhone.
This is some authentic ass anime from the best studio in the world.
