If dogs evolved to speak/read/write, would you accept them into society more?

Say these dogs evolved and were basically like humans, but not at smart. But they could speak English, read, write, do math, etc. And you a manager at a warehouse and some dog came in and applied for a job as a janitor. Would you consider hiring the dog?

Considering there smart and now can read, write and talk they would find a way somehow maybe not efficently but a way to do the job. -
