This is an introduction to a short story I wrote! It's the story of a lost generation.
The song describes a section within the story where the hero is killed and forever haunts
an arcade called "The Tiger Arcade"

The year is 1985. The earth is 98% rid of the human race. 1.98% of the remaining 2% are in captivity.

The animals who sat watching and plotting for thousands of years stood up and took back what was rightfully theres in the war of animal vs man from 1958-1963. It was a massacre. All creatures from arachnids to zebras took part in the downfall of humanity.

The animals started to rebuild. Certain species only associating with select species. Alliances and Rivalries formed. By 1969 the Tigers (along with other Felidae) had a steady grip on the drug trade as a whole in the united states (With help from the Bears). This fact being swept under rugs because the Tigers also held the entire country’s vice in their pockets.

There were no sports. There were no Movies. No TV. No Radio. No safety. The only thing to take your mind off the poverty violence and anarchy were the Arcades. Beautiful lights, realism, safety, and most importantly a blank mind. All species played the Games. The tigers had used their drug money to create a monopoly on the Arcade system. The best games. The cheapest prices. And you can get whatever you need to keep you jacked up from the Back Room.

The only music that existed were the sounds in the games to keep you entranced. Without the Sounds, there are no Games. Herein lies the problem. The Animal cannot create the Sounds. The Animal has no concept of the correct rhythm, bpm, scales, timing, and more importantly, how to keep the Animals coming back.

At the start of the Arcades in 1971. Two men. Chosen by the tigers. The only men left to live free. These two men were brought from slavery at the ages of 5 and 6 by the tigers to learn to make the Sounds to keep the Arcades going.

The year is 1985, and Future the Cat and Black Panther P., the only two free men, slave in the arcades to program the Sounds for the Games (as well as perform maintenance and referee the Champions Matches). The alliance between the Tigers and Bears have Broken. The bears have only started to break into the Arcade market, but have refused to provide the protection for the Tigers drug trade, Thus narrowing their market as they Increase fees and Decrease revenue.

The war between the two unfolds when Future the Cat and Black Panther P. refuse to program the Sounds and move into the Bears compound not only as Soundmakers but equal partners. Who will win? What will happen?
