    I had a foreign friend from Ghana, France, or something in college and he told me what they were saying. He didn't know I listened to stuff like this.

    Yes!!!!! i remember my dad used to bump Princessess Nubiennes all the time back in the day, and i think my friend used to sing back up for them.

    Props to this thread! Their first album is amazing. I don't get French at all, but their music is so smooth and soulful mixed with African sounds making in into some unique kind of blend. I had translation of their lyrics and they definitely put it down lyrically touching wide range of topics. Their last album is not as good, but they put some funk on it:
