IMO Jamurcus should get another shot backing up and seeing if he can play in the NFL...But that should be for a team like the Lions or the Rams. Not the Jets. The Jets are going to sign Mark Brunell anyway.

I think they Would Only Bring him in For Laughs, Kind of like loosen up the team at practice, because watching him QB would probably ? the entire team up, and listening to him talk and just watching him be jemarcus russell and see how many L's he dishes out per practice........Sometimes you need guys like that on the team.

But if thats not why they would sign him then yea give him some Pizza and tell him to go home, or Be on VH1 "Where are they Now" after just 3 years.

Then what's the purpose? The only way this kid gets some play is if we up 42-0 at the end of the half. We need to get some real experience behind Sanchez... not an experiment.

It's widely believed that Mark Brunell will sign with the New York Jets and become their backup quarterback before training camp opens. But not everyone on the team is enthusiastic about the prospect of having Brunell as a teammate.

"Brunell? Isn't he like 50 years old?" one Jets player said, according to the New York Daily News.

We still got Clemons who is more than serviceable, JaMarcus wont hurt in my opinion, but I can understand why they would want a veteran like Brunell though.
