The fact that he wrote a softcore porn confirms that to begin with, first and foremost. Seriously, softcore porn.

I was watching Harry Potter Prisoner Of Azkaban, which was directed by Alfonso Cuaron(Y Tu Mama Tambien, Children Of Men) so you KNOW the movie is dark and gritty, by far and away the best of all harry potter movies in my opinion, easy to say because I`m not a fan of the books nor the franchise in general.

But I was reading Roger Ebert`s review on Prisoner Of Azkaban, and he said it wasn`t as good as first TWO Harry Potter movies, which were both directed by Chris Columbus(HOME ALONE director for crying out loud) so I`m thinking in my head, he liked those two, dull, boring, cheesy adaptations of first two novels, but the best reviewed harry potter movie at the time he didn`t like as much. WOW!

Also I notice he gives way too many movies 3 stars and up, so easily... it`s so easy to get good reviews from Roger Ebert.
What makes him unique is that he will ever so often, choose to give critically acclaimed movies, poor reviews.

My personal favorite critic is Peter Travers from Rolling Stone by far, as his taste is more similar to mine. But that sounds egotistical... I`m just saying Roger Ebert seems to have cheesy, corny taste in many movies in general and he deals with that.
