Statik Selektah and REKS have collaborated to produce a full-length album entitled 'Straight No Chaser'. REKS, who received praise in The Essence last year for his R.E.K.S. release, has already collaborated with Statik on a number of occassions (some of which can be listened to below). Whilst Statik has received a lot of criticism for his beats of late, he's still the producer that brought us "Stop, Look and Listen" with Styles P, Q-Tip and Termanology, which in my opinion is a classic record from the producer's debut. REKS however, is only said to be getting better with every release. With Termanology stopping by as usual, along with Action Bronson, Slaine and more, this LP may just live up to REKS's other releases.
The single dropped just short of a month ago, aptly-titled "Chasin'" with REKS sounding as hungry as ever over a nice piano-led track from Statik.

Should be a great listen, just hoping Statik brings it on the boards… don't think we need to worry about REKS. -
Damn didnt know this was dropping. Def loved reks last album. Statik has been putting in hella work these last couple years!
