TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter says major changes are coming to Impact Wrestling. Dixie Carter tells f4wonline.com that she met with Spike TV executives this week and both parties decided it was time to make significant changes to the presentation of the show.

While she did not reveal specific details, the transformation is taking place soon and will include “format changes and new elements.” Carter added the company is making a very conscious decision to focus now on young talent.

Carter also provided an update on Bruce Prichard, TNA’s Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations, who recently suffered a heart attack. Prichard has returned to work, has dropped over thirty pounds and was actually scheduled to undergo heart surgery when he suffered the heart attack.

don't hold your breathe, they say this every year.

they can change all they want, but nothing will change

plus, the rating just fell below a 1.0 for the second time within the past month.

They need to fall on their sword and hire Paul Heyman if they REALLY want to make a change.

Have you been reading the stuff Poppa Pump been saying about Hogan/Bischoff/Garett B. and TNA on Twitter? The ? is hilarious and it's all so true.

    Yeah Scott is goin' in.

Truth be told, like you said Mally, Heyman to run the show. It'd see ratings and buys like never befor and it'd become a true competitor. After it becomes a hit, move it to Monday nights and let the wars begin...

Nah, leave it where it is on Thursday's.

I like having something wrestling related on TV everyday, even though it saturates the genre.

    Monday - RAW
    Tuesday - nothing
    Wednesday - nothing
    Thursday - iMPACT! Wrestling
    Friday - Smackdown
    Saturday - nothing
Sunday - every other Sunday there's a PPV

Then just about every night on ESPN Classics, old AWA Wrestling comes on, so I'm good with my wrestling each week.

Even if TNA were to move back to Monday's (and get manhandled like when Hogan/Bischoff took over) I'd rather see them pick up steam and get positive recognition on the mainstream first before competing with the juggernaut.

But the last resort and final resolution (pun, maybe) is hiring Paul Heyman. Give the man what he wants if they are serious about being a legit wrestling company. Otherwise, the Carter family is using TNA as a toy, and have no real intentions of making it succeed. They can say they are satisfied with their current position in the wrestling business, but I thought one goes into business to succeed and be #1, not #2 or #3. That's why so many people don't respect TNA, because they know the owners/bankrollers don't really care for it, it's just something to do. They just don't want to give Heyman the stock options into Panda Energy that he requested to come in and clean up TNA. I'm pretty sure if Heyman didn't ask for the stock option, they'd hire him. But the people that make TNA exist don't care if it succeeds, which makes zero sense in my book.

Big changes are ALWAYS coming to TNA, but in they case it never seems like good ones.I got some big changes of my own for them:
1.Get rid of the Smackdown swagger jacking color scheme.
2.Bring the hexagonal ring back full time.
3.Stop giving the women wrestlers vaguely porn-sounding ring names....Tell a ? you about to watch Angelina Love and Velvet Sky go at it on TV and he'd swear you about to go beat your meat.
4.Use that money being paid to all these hasbeens and WWE washouts to make the show look better.FCW got better production values than TNA.I mean I'm a fan of cats like Mr. Anderson, but it's a reason them ? ain't in WWE anymore.

Scott Steiner, who parted ways with TNA Wrestling two weeks ago, has continued to fire off messages on his Twitter account trashing his former employer's brain trust, particularly Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard. He says TNA is sinking under their watch and their tactics have instilled fear among employees. "Big Poppa Pump" also sounds off on TNA not acknowledging the ratings success of Indian based promotion Ring Ka King, the Abyss brother storyline, Garett Bischoff, cutting costs in catering and more. Steiner says:
"With all the media coverage via U tube,http://GQ.com and the 40 billboards of me thruout India covering Ring ka King

"Isnt it strange that Tna mentiond very little about it thats bcuz Pritchard hogan n b---hoff

"Were pissd bcuz it did so well drawing 14 mill viewers n they had nothin to do with it

"U couldnt talk about it at the office or tweet about it.THINK ABOUT THAT! We went to India for Tna but Tna did very lil coverage of it

"Bcuz these idiots were ? they had nothing to do with the success of it..so they tried to bury the ppl who went over there

"They tried to bury me they imediately startd beating morgan, they couldnt bury Magnus bcuz

"They had sent him home when they first came in,so they startd using him bcuz nxt trip to India

"They'll say he cant go ..Magnus is 25 yrs he can talk, wrestle and he looks great why would they send him home for about a year

"Oh,yeah bcuz Garrett is 28 yrs has had less than 10 matches has great sideburns cant throw a clothline

"And is the future of wrestling F-ck! But the guy they r burying the worst is abyss.f-cking why!

"They made him take off his mask cut his hair n walk around sayin he is abyss's brother

"Which makes everybody look stupid, like we dont know what abyss looks like, what he never took off his mask

"Why...abyss has bn there from the begining n is a nice guy...but they just f--k with everybody bcuz they r a--holes

"As soon as these a--holes took over they built up a barrier where u could no longer talk to dixie u had to talk Bruce

"We all thought pritchard is a ? n didnt want to talk to him.but those who tried to contact dixie either got ignored or reprimended

"Not sure how pritchard hogan n b---hoff convinced dixie to turn her back on the ppl who built up Tna

"And listen to the 3 jackoffs that are sinking Tna..wrestling has always bn about ratings ratings ratings

"Ratings are like a scoreboard, there isnt one coach that looks at the scoreboard at the end of the game

"And wonders who won..and since these guys came to tna the ratings suckd and still do !!!!!!

"So was is it so hard to figure out who is the problem

"Since they came in ratings are down but costs are up,so to cuts cost in other areas to pay for these worthless ratings killers

"They cut the money for catering and we startd using paper plates n plastic.f-cking crazy!!!!

"Pritchard hogan n b---hoffs tactics were to make everyboby job scared by fn with everybody and turnd tna into a zoo a circus

"And just like every good circus u have clowns n midgets ......:.."

Most people don't give TNA a chance, they watch a show here and there for a short time and say it sucks.

Still like TNA but haven't watched a full show since 2010. For them to @ least come close to challenging the WWE these are the things they need to do.......

    1. Put much more focus on the originals
    2. Stop paying big salaries to former big name WWE/WCW talent
    3. Get the hell out of Orlando
    4. Drop Hogan, Sting (both too old & what are there roles with the company), Hardy (Can't trust him with his skeletons), Angle (He's got waaayyyy too much pull with the company, Jarrett (He doesn't need to be dropped (being the fact that it's really his and his father's company) but he need to be a backstage presence), Anderson (Waaaayyyy too injury prone), Bubba Ray (though his bully ray character is doing a good job he's way too full of himself)
    5. Stop trying to be the attitude era 2.0
    6. Get rid of Dixie Carter (which prob. won't happen)
    7. Make Styles, Morgan, and Strom the voices inside and outside of the organization
    8. Market themselves better

I think anyone that watches wrestling is a nerd period. No nerd is superior to the otehr cuz their brand gets more ratings and buyrates (WWE's most recent champions are ? nerds ala Punk and Bryan) Anyways they might make it a little bit more like Ra Ka King, but we'll see.

TNA been doing half of that and you still wont watch like Vibe said. You won't even give them a chance so it doesnt matter. They had Storm and Roode in the title picture feuding for half a year like old WCW/WWF feuds, and you wont watch. Austin Aries has been ruling the X Division with class but you don't care.. cuz its not WWE.

But the people that make TNA exist don't care if it succeeds, which makes zero sense in my book.

Wait Paul asked for options in the energy company ? LOOLOLOLOL ahhh that's prolly why then. Oil money is long money, them ? aint givin Paul nadda. I'd tell him to kick rocks too lolol. They should give him control of TNA. Real talk if they let Paul Heyman run the show he'd build TNA into a beast.

I guess he looked at like this......if Hogan, Flair, Bischoff and a couple others that have come and gone got paid through Panda Energy, not TNA, then he should be compensated the same way and to take it up a notch, with the stock option IF the company truly wants to have TNA succeed.

Remember, Time Warner was paying a lot of the big names in WCW, so when WCW folded, they continued to get paid big cash without having to work. I guess Heyman saw this as a chance at free money in case TNA folded while he was at the helm.

Getting paid through Panda Energy is guarenteed money and a large $$ deal can be brokered through PE because their pockets are deeper. That's why you always hear of the lower end wrestler in TNA and the KO's always complaining about pay and how they get paid per appearance because TNA pays them. TNA doesn't have any money, as you can see in the PPV picture above. They don't draw, so they can't pay anyone. TNA been in the red since their Fox Sports Network days, Panda Energy just happened to come in and plug the gapeing holes in the hull of the ship with a few bankrolls. Once PE decides to yank those bankrolls out, TNA will lose everything. It'll start with releasing wrestlers, then never going on the road for houseshows and other live events (which don't draw now, so it doesn't matter), and Poppa Pump already eluded that they are cutting costs by cutting catering in the back, so the struggle to stay afloat is already evident.

It won't surprise me if one day that it's reported that Dixie Carter is seen coming out of Titan Towers in an effort to get her return on investment back by getting whatever she put into TNA back through the WWE, thus having the WWE financially own TNA. Sort of like a mortgage company selling a person's home loan to another mortgage company just to get it off the books because it's not profitable to own it any longer.

If TNA doesn't make any significant changes that are noticable and gain some sort of mainstream appeal, then it's only a matter of time before they die on their own, or the intellectual properties end up in the hands of Vince and the WWE. Whomever owns the rights to TNA when it goes under will make a pretty good coin by selling the rights to the highest bidder (WWE).

If I had won the Mega Millions a couple weeks back, I definately would had hollered at Dixie and put my 2 cents in on some partial ownership and/or creative direction. Seems like fans on the outside have better ideas for the company to succeed than those who are within running the joint.

I dont think a year goes by that the headline "big changes coming to TNA" doesnt appear
