I think about us when I think about distance
We were similar, but we weren’t without difference
Now the only thing we share is our indifference
If I had been better maybe it have been different
I should have listened more and talked less
and put down the phone I was calling shots with
like an alchy at the bar when they’re doing final call
I thought I had forever, learned I have no time at all
It’s been years, I measure the time with my tears
Trying to be a bigger man, at least bigger than my fears
Fierce competition has me hatin on myself
I want to amount to what everybody else, has
I heard possessions take possession
of a Man’s mind when he goes and makes protection
of his assets an asset, wonderin where the girl with the biggest ass at
so he can go and wax that
No karate kid, who has taught us this
Crane kick your habit cause that is all it is
We can overcome vices if we really want to
