John Cena has filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart and wife of three years, Liz Huberdeau, reports The Miami Herald and TMZ.com. The WWE Superstar claims their marriage is "irretrevably broken."
The couple signed a prenuptial agreement that allows Cena, who possesses assets worth $18 million, the ability to take back all gifts and presents. Huberdeau has already hired powerful Miami attorney Raymond Rafool, who is best known for facing Hulk Hogan in his ugly divorce battle against ex-wife Linda. Rafool allegedly took 70% of the legendary grappler's assets and Huberdeau reportedly wants a similar take. A source close to the situation told The Miami Herald that this divorce would "dwarf the Hogan divorce in nastiness."
Rafool released a statement, claiming, "Although it is indeed unfortunate that John Cena decided to divorce his high school sweetheart Liz Cena; particularly, after they have come so far in their lives and in his career together, Liz will and really has no choice but to pursue all of her rights and entitlements.
"Sadly, divorce is not the way Liz thought her perfect love story would end."
Huberdeau's attorney adds that Cena "blindsided her" with the divorce filing. They had been having issues as the WWE Superstar approached her recently with a pre-divorce financial settlement agreement that she refused to sign due to her belief the relationship would work out.

Damn, I was just about to post this. How can she get any loot if there's a pre nup? I was saying the same thing. I think one of them divas turned Cena out and I'm betting it was Eve.

high school sweetharts. many people get married to the person they knew way back in high school/college. but cena could of done ALOT BETTER. cena got married women ready to leave their husbands to get at cena during those wwe events. why you think they kids got cena gear on?
i hear ya, but it's all too common of an excuse. many a celebrity have married their high school sweethearts and ended up with another chick that looks better and has their own money. he could have just remained friends with the chick while he went off and did his thing. she could do nothing but respect that. i don't understand why famous dudes marry their sweethearts because they've been around the longest. it's like pimps marrying their last prostitute just because she was there. Cena is far from leaving the game, so why marry the broad that looks like a Sneetch?
Of course she's going to cooperate because she knows what he has, that makes her no different than any other female out there. The only upper hand she has is that she's known him before his fame and she can talk to him like a person, instead of being around the celebrity in him then getting to know the person that he is. He may have an emotional connection to her just because she's been around longer, but that doesn't qualify her as automatic wifey. -
