Don’t get excited just yet. During his Made In America music festival announcement in Philadelphia earlier today, Jay-Z chatted with Billboard and revealed that he will not be releasing new music anytime soon as his focus is his daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

“I thought I would be more inspired to have all these new feelings to talk about, but I really just want to hang out with my daughter. I want to enjoy this time for what it is. I’m sure that bug to get back in the studio will come back at some point.”

Hov didn’t announce the acts who will be performing at the two day concert but said that about 70% of the lineup is already confirmed.

“You know me — I love the show of it. I will reveal them in time and we’ll do some silly things that no one understands and they’ll figure it out.”
