"The world was made perfect by Godfrom the beginning when adam and eve ate from the tree of good and evil. That brought sin , and evil into the world which messed up everything. Slavery was never meant to be. but sin brought it into existence. Slavery in the bible days was a person paying their due's by working to those who the borrowed from. but later on because of sin kept on growing slavery becamed very harsh and evil."

If Christians believe and accept that the world was perfect when ? made it and sin did not exist before Adam ate the forbidden fruit then where did the Serpent come from? How could an evil creature exist and sin prior to sin existing?

Is that dude's take on the story wrong or did I find a real contradiction here?

It is the belief evil and sin are different. Both are bad, but evil suggests that there are things out there that are such; that there is an understanding of what it is. Sin suggests that a person's understanding of evil falls short of ? 's Understanding. Sin suggests that man can't (and won't) do what is right by ? .

Evil existed before adam and eve because they became like the gods who already knew of it. And 'sin' means 'to miss the mark' or 'to err' and before adam and eve missed the mark the world was perfect because they didn't have the capacity to do evil(through err) because they didn't have knowledge of good and evil(a conscience) only good, like animals.
