Secret societys lie to me daily
inebriated cry babies
scream and die praying
knees bent
eyes swelling
tears vent
I'm telling
weed scent
I'm helpless
and so
I am a man
left with a poem
my car is much less of a home
homeless and low on gas
my broke ass got put out by Katrina
so I live in my peanut colored Kia
jealous of the yellow colored Beamers
because of heated seats beneath butts
surviving off family dollar trips
with no family and only a dollar
ramen noodles and some water
I'm eatin for days off soggy ass pasta
all cuz
my block got flooded
my company lost all our customers
my company lost all love for us
my company didn't want me
turns out my lovely wife didn't either
she left
in my yellow colored Beamer
all I had was her Kia
a Jesus piece and no idea where I could sleep at
underneath I-10 in my wife's whip
pawning a Jesus piece for some of Pisce's drink
my life stinks
months go by
my government "TRYS!"
I barely survive
I got a few gallons but I'm scared to drive
but life must go on
so I shave
put some decent clothes on
drive from New Orleans to Fort Walton
live in my car until I get a job
fishing for a living
I can handle that
I work
they pay
I find a girl
get engaged
now I got my family back
then
poison hits the waters of the Gulf once again
explosion
wallets imploding backwards
president imposing taxes
innocence floating caskets
and I pay the cost for my Kia's last drips
left empty and unhappy with my pride bleeding
is it coincidence that the British Petroleum gas stations are green?

Your struggle is soooo relatable.. ? I aint touched on yet poetry wise.. But man.. Stay strong and keep the head up..

Yes! I got a few jawns up in this.. Healing process * completed version, Silence, Happy, Navajo Person, Im not ready to die, and a grip more.. Just go thru the pages and you will see em. And if you go to body slam you will see more material, some wrote to a few beats and so on.. Check for em tho!

just writing from the perspective of so many people out here on the Gulf Shores
