I remember in the early 90s I used to always get R Kelly and Aaron Hall confused. They almost sounded alike, had the same look, and almost had the same sound of music. Im surprised they were good friends.

I've always said that Trey is a bootleg R Kelly, but that video does a terrible job of proving it.

who jacked Charlie Wilson.
But Aaron gave props to Charlie. He says it on the song they did together on the Boomerang Soundtrack.

Charlie Wilson also was influenced by The Great Steve Wonder .

People praised R.Kelly last album but that ? wasnt original at all so shrugs....at least Trey acknowledged Kells as a influence

I agree with R.D. In Trey Songz diss to Kellz he stated that R.Kelly is a legend and the "Kelly you the king but you tryna be the dream" Kellz started coming out with forced music, like "Hairbraider." That song was pitiful and it seemed as though he had stopped being the guy that everyone wanted to sound like and became the guy who needed to ride the coattails of the younger dudes who created a new sound.
