It looks as if John Cena will be returning to the WWE Title picture. Commercials aired during Monday's RAW in the Boston area hyping September's Night of Champions PPV, and the voiceover stated the following… "John Cena returns to his hometown of Boston to try and re-capture championship glory."

If they're going to debut the new title soon then yeah, they would like Cena to probably be the first to win the new one.

They don't.
Cena hasn't had the belt for a while, yet he still main events every ppv.

well Punk has been champ close to a yr its only so long untill Cena got it back plus with a new belt to debut they wanna get sales for them toys/replicas

I hope he doesn't win the MITB though. If he did, he could cash it in on a heel champion if Punk doesn't keep the belt.
