Its not kobe's fault that clearly the deal from the lockout was structured in with terms just to hurt the laker frachise specifically. Guys like Dan Gilbert from the cavs are tired of seein the buss family chipping it up every other year. They tried to fix it so the pay roll would be difficult to get other players, lakers found the loop hole and was gonna pull a big "? y'all" to the dan gilberts of the world when they got cris paul. What happened? The owners turned into some ? and got in sterns ear and forced him to change rules. Kobe shouldn't have to give up no money per year, (he's got a vulture for a wife to think about) these small market owners just need to stop complaining that athletes don't wanna come live in them boring ass states to play ball and stop forcing stern to tie the lakers hands up.

Tom you need to learn how to read. Ill those teams you named can probably say the same thing but the Lakers were definately a priority for what the owners wanted to put a stop to. Didn't help that derrick fisher of all guys happen to be a guy tryna stop them.

The way ? is now kobe probably gonna be the last guy in a while that comes into the league and stay with his team his whole career. Now how its gonna be, you get drafted, you make a name for yourself and then you prepare to move on while a team can get something for you.

? only cried after losing two years in a row in the 1st round and being stuck with kwame brown and smush parker.... dont act like miami wouldn't be a contender with just Wade and Bosh and using Lebron's money on a bench..... And ? need to stop wit Gasol being a dominant big man cuz he's not..... Shaq is the definition of dominant ..... Gasol has all star talent but he aint dominant and neither is Bynum

Like Lebron didnt accomplish more with less talent, there was a whole lot of Kwames on that Cavs team. Lol at the Heat being a contender without Lebron, Wade hasnt been able to carry a team since 06. ? won 15 games the year prior. Gasol was good enough to bail out Kobe and make big shots for 2 rings. How is two 20 and 10 guys not dominant, other than Kobe hogging and not playing smart ball.

Bynum has never been a 20 - 10 dude and he was always hurt during them championship runs .... wade reminded me of Kobe in them two years before LeBron , he was on his ? just needed a decent Big like Kobe..... look at his stats the 2 years before Lebron, damn near like Kobe's b4 gasol..... all he need was Bosh and the Lebron money would've got yall a bench that would have lasted longer than the ? yall got now

This is such ? . Those 05-07 lakers were 2-12 the worst roster in the league. They had one other good Nba player after Kobe and that was Lamar. Those cavs teams had a bunch of good players. They just didn't have a 2nd great player. But player for player those cavs teams ? on the Lakers teams. The truth of the matter is whenever Lamar and Luke were healthy those laker teams won games, they just couldn't keep those two guys healthy and Kobe was stuck playing with Shammond williams and brian cook. Litteraly guys who had no bussiness being in the league.

ONe of the biggestfallacies the last 5 years, has been about how bad those cavs teams were. Through the first 6 games of the Celtics series in 08 Lebron was historically awful. Yet the series was still tied because his "awful" teamates kept them in the series. He finally had a great game in game 7 and they lost, and all you heard was about how he had no help, when in reality if he'd played like an average Nba player in any of the first 6 games they would have already won the series.
