The Extended Cut Ending will be on the disc as part of the package.

Bioware has confirmed that the Wii U release of Mass Effect 3 will integrate the Extended Cut ending.

Speaking to Siliconera, Mass Effect producer Michael Gamble explained that Wii U players would get the alternate ending as part of the package.

"The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead; you won’t have to download it," he said.

There's no word whether the free Earth multiplayer bundle will be included in the same way. The pack, which offers new maps, characters and weapons, launches on most platforms in the EU and US today, though European PS3 players won't be able to grab it until tomorrow.

Mass Effect 3's release date is dependent on when the Wii U launches, which has yet to be confirmed.
