I usually don't ? about this kinda ? , but damn...WTF @ some of these nominees? Nothing for Happy Endings or Cougar Town? Louie C.K. not nominated for Best Comedy Series? How? American Horror Story in the miniseries category? Why? Nothing 30 Rock or Two and Half Men should be nominated. Period. Curb Your Enthusiasm has been on forever, give some other shows some shine.
Good looks on Veep though, Nurse Jackie and as always Mad Men. -
I liked Homeland but how did that ? get nominated for anything. First 4/5 episodes were a snooze fest. ? did pick up nicely towards the end.
No major gripe b/c only shows i watch are Breaking Bad Homeland and Game of thrones Never seen an episode of any of those other shows listed.
anybody know what that Luther is about with Stringer Bell?
Woody Harrelson was good in Game Change

Yea, I wanted to like this show. I tried, and I could tell good things were coming...but I just couldn't make it through those first few episodes. -
as far as TV dramas go, Homeland is better than most.
walking dead should not be nominated for anything acting related. good show, but not emmy worthy. maybe for makeup or something.
anyway, mad men might rack up. nominated for 17 emmys.
i haven't seen any of those other mini-series', but they'd have to be very good to beat out Hatfield and McCoys. -

Cosign the bolded.....all 3 of those shows ? on 30 Rock.
-
Yea I mean, they literally nominated every single adult cast member of Modern Family. 6 spots. I ? with Modern Family, but come on. If its gettin to that point then they should just do like the SAG awards and create an "Outstanding Ensemble Cast" category.
-
@matt what's hatsfield and McCoy about...

This why I hate the Emmy Awards tho....its whatever show is making the most money for their networks basically with a few suprise winners just for ? and giggles.... there's no way 30 Rock, John Cryer (Two & a Half Men), the Modern Family entire supporting cast (except for Ty Burrell) should even be Nominees IMHO. And hate the fact they have the audacity to have any categories for Reality shows. I mean who gives a ? about the reality show hosts?!? ? stupid. I thought u get awards for you actual acting performance not just standing there giving mufuckas directions and instigating....
All that favortism and ? riding is exactly why I can't watch Award shows of any kind.......I mean u honestly tellin me u cant leave out Big Bang, Modern Family (its won EVERY ? AWARD @ the ? emmys already!!), 30 Rock (see Modern Family) out to acknowledge good ass ? comedies like Happy Endings (& there's at least 4 of that cast that should be nominated for indvidual awards...), Cougar Town, Louie (who has changed the game really), or even New Girl?? -
It's about the hatfield and mccoys feud
-
AND they left out Sons of Anarchy...? the Emmys...
-
Any category that has Sherlock (and actors from) in it....its a lock in. Ya'll prolly havent seen it...but trust me its a lock and its not close.PaperPlaneJane wrote: »AND they left out Sons of Anarchy...? the Emmys...
The SONS stay getting disrespected....OTTO, CHIBS and Bobby need to go SEE somebody over there.
-
when do the emmys come on? homeland is my ? but how is it nominated when the second season hasn't aired yet? they basically goin off the first season when they already won for it last year.
-
? is wack

American Horror Story cleaned up with nominations too, but I still don't understand why its considered a miniseries or movie? Also, like Homeland, it seems like its being nominated two years in a year based on 1 season?
Props to American Dad and Bob's Burgers on the animated front. I know nobody in the world ever watched it but me, but Life and Times of Tim on HBO was GOAT cartoon before it got cancelled this year. Was hoping it would it get nominated.
And Real Time with Bill Mahr, even tho they give it to the Daily Show with John Stewart every year.
