Yes, Barack Obama graduated from Harvard Law School Magna ? Laude, which means top 10% by grade in his class. Grading is done blindly (without names, only numbers) at HLS.

Correct, A GPA is the grade they go by. His class meaning, his graduating class for that year counting all Law graduates in that year, not in his classroom like an elementary school. But that number happens to be attached to his name which is why he was awarded. What exactly are you proving here? This is done at all colleges.
