Hercules killed the last action hero?
-
Some point to Keanu Reeves in Speed. After that, muscles, brawn and a penchant for asskickery without special effects or post-production were no longer a prerequisite to have a successful action flick.
-
Why Kevin Sorbo?
-
? like shia labeouf & tobey macguire...when they started putting nerdy type ? in the starring roles..and adding fake ass love stories to evry action movie... that's what deaded ? .......

Kevin Sorbo looks more like Marty Jenetti... than anything..

the only cats that are worthy .. of this age or statham, bourne... im not counting comic action thats a different lane.
Jetli is a slightly different category -
The action heros of the 80s got older and some of the storylines got worse and worse
-
whoever though the idea of The Rock being a action hero
Vin Diesal acting is bad
Keenu Reeves is super boring
Jason Strathom is actually saved the genre a bit after those 3 guys help destroy it. (along with the Bourne movies) -

Well Conan 1 had a nice storyline, as did the first Predator, First Blood had a decent storyline, the first two Indiana Jones had great storylines, but I can agree with what you're saying -

How about the stupid "funny" fake ass coming of age.. frat boy comedies... they surely have a hand in this. or maybe its just my disdain for 95% of these movies
