Probably one of the only ? in NBA history that could guard Lebron for 48. ? made All Defense 1st team 8 years in a row, and this was in the 90's when the NBA actually played defense.

pippen was that dude defensively.. but lebron may be the best offensive player the game's ever seen (all around).. not to mention the most athletic... nh, but pippen would have his hands full tryin to guard bron

I wouldnt argue that, LB's game is tailor made for Pip's defense.. he has long arms and height to contest LB's jumper.. and although Pip had trouble with stronger players, LB isnt gonna take advantage of that being as his post game isnt that good from a scoring standpoint.

Also LB isnt an iso guy thats gonna break u down, and Pip moves his feet well and would prolly be able to stay in front of him.. basically similar to the troubles Marion gives LB, Pip might just be worse since he's longer (arms) and a lil quicker on his feet.

You mean when it was easier to play defense. Bron would drop 20 and 10 on Pippen with ease.

no one would lock down Lebron.... cut it out. They would play good defense but eventually he would get to the rack or get a foul called.....

LeBron's friggin' "Snuggles" soft and Rodman, Pippen or even Alvin Robertson would lock him down...

i'd say that Pippen would make LeBron work harder to score, and quite possibly make LeBron's points less impactful.

LeBron will not be stopped from scoring, becuz if the J isn't working, he'll drive to the cup for a foul. I think if a solid defender is in front of him and can force him to not drive, he could still score off a consistent J or pass the ball to an open shooter, but he won't be as big of an impact on the game, as to say he's taken the game over.

if LeBron develops a post game, he'd be unstoppable. develop a jump hook after curling to the lane or a sweeping hook, there's no stopping him. he already has the strength to drive at will, the ability to see open teammates, and a consistent enough jumper to have the defenders guessing whether he'll shoot or drive on them. He's just missing the inside..

In open floor hell naw . But in the half court probably . In the post maybe bron got about 40 lbs on pip . Yeah I think Rodman would in his prime would have a better chance but are we talking with hand check or no hand check .

Lol bruh Dennis Rodman would lock that ? down he is a 2x DPOY and lock down way more better scorers than lbj, and y'all ? act like lbj looks to score when he looks to pass

Depends on what NBA rule we talking about b/c with the no handchecking dont see Pippen putting clamps on LBJ but if we talking about 90's rules well there is a argument there b/c even though Lebron is a machine Pippen physical play would frustrate him

Idk about Pip but Cosign the Rodman thing

Karl Malone was the closest thing physically to the way lebron Is built. Big muscular guys that can move fast. If rodman can frustrate the mail man I think he would definately be able to take lebron outta his game being that bron ain't even mentally tougher than malone was, plus rodman had footspeed on defense and is probably the only guy crazy enough to attempt to take a charge fron bron and id bet he would get the calls his way.

    Troll thread.

    A great offense > a great defense.

On a good night, Lebron would drop 30+ on anybody.
On a good night, Kobe would drop 30+ on anybody.
On a good night, Durant would drop 30+ on anybody.
On a good night, MJ would drop 30+ on anybody.

? who you think is a good defender. You could play perfect defense and still have a ? drop buckets on you.

Rodman couldn't stop Malone and lebron is a faster, quicker and more athletic Malone

Pippen ain't "shutting" him down neither, I've seen penny and grant hill in their primes give Pippen the business nh and lebron>>>>>them ? offensively

Rodman would be too slow.... Bron would blow by him.... unless he is allowed to clothesline him with 80's rules and have Salley Lambeer ad Mahorn defending behind him then no he will not lock Bron down

naw lol... Malone had musles and ? but Bron is way faster and a better athlete... Bron can dribble while Malone was a post player... they are nothing alike

I don't know all about that in regards to the underline... Grant and Penny could shoot better and get to the hole just as good
